November 14, 2019 (Kunming) - Ministry of Tourism, Government of India successfully launched the largest India Tourism China Roadshow in November 2019. Over 220 Chinese companies was present. The China Roadshow cover three major cities: Chengdu, Chongqing and Kunming.
Ambassador of India to China, H.E Shri Vikram Misriofficially launched India Tourism Chongqing roadshow. Also present was Shri Rajesh Parihar, first secretary (Economy & Commerce) of India Embassy in Beijing, Sushil Kumar, Assistant director of India Tourism and Marcus Lee, CEO of Welcome China (CBISN). This event is co-organized and coordinated by Welcome China (CBISN) and supported by China Outbound travel portal China Travel Online.
More than 35 companies from India led by Additional Secretary General of India Tourism, Ms. Rupinder Brar and CII Chairman of Tourism Industry, Mr. Haksar Dipak, participated in 2019 China Roadshow, organized by Embassy of India in Beijing, India Tourism and Consulate General of India in Guangzhou.
